These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Nova Biolabs website (www.novabiolabs.co.uk) and the Nova Tracker mobile application (available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store), both operated by Nova Biolabs ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing the website, placing an order, or creating an account in the Nova Tracker app, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Nova Biolabs website or the Nova Tracker app. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
By placing an order on our website, you additionally confirm that purchasing the relevant products is lawful in your country or jurisdiction.

3. What Nova Tracker Is
Nova Tracker is a personal health and wellness tracking application that allows users to log and monitor data including body weight, calorie intake, protein intake, water intake, step count, sleep, progress photos, and general fitness goals.
Nova Tracker is a self-tracking tool only. It is designed to help you log and visualise your own wellness data. It is not a medical device, clinical tool, or diagnostic service of any kind.
4. Not Medical Advice
Nova Tracker does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical recommendations of any kind.
Any reference to nutrition, calorie targets, hydration, sleep, or fitness within the app is for general informational and self-tracking purposes only.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into Nova Tracker. We do not verify, validate, or review user-entered data.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app is appropriate for your personal circumstances. If you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are under the care of a healthcare provider, you should consult that provider before using the app to inform your health decisions.
You must not use Nova Tracker in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
6. Health & Wellness Tracking
The tracking features in Nova Tracker — including calorie logging, weight tracking, step counting, sleep monitoring, water intake, and progress photography — are provided as personal logging tools. Any targets, estimates, or reference values displayed in the app are general guides only and are not tailored to your individual health needs.
If Nova Tracker integrates with Apple Health or Google Health Connect, data is read and written to those platforms only with your explicit permission. You can revoke permission at any time through your device settings.
7. Calculators & Reference Information
Nova Tracker may include calculators or reference information — for example, calorie estimators, BMI indicators, hydration targets, or macro calculators. These tools use generalised formulas and publicly available reference data.
Outputs from any in-app calculator are estimates only. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified nutritionist, dietitian, or doctor. Results will vary depending on individual factors not captured by the app.
8. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Nova Tracker account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.
If you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorisation, you should change your password immediately and notify us at support@novabiolabs.co.uk.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to maintain the security of your login credentials.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Nova Tracker to:
— Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
— Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app, its servers, or any other accounts.
— Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
— Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service for other users.
— Use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
10. Account Suspension & Deletion
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Nova Tracker account at any time if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have breached these Terms or if your use of the app poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the service. We will endeavour to notify you when it is reasonable to do so.
You may delete your account at any time. To request deletion, use the in-app account settings or email support@novabiolabs.co.uk. On deletion, your personal data and health logs will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

11. Research Use Only
All products sold by Nova Biolabs through the website are strictly for in vitro research purposes only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or clinical application of any kind.
By purchasing, you confirm that you are a research professional aged 18 or over and that you will use products in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Nova Biolabs accepts no liability for any misuse of products.
12. Orders & Payment
Orders are placed by completing the checkout form on our website. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, with a full refund issued where payment has already been made.
Prices are in GBP. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time of checkout.
13. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours of payment being confirmed. Delivery times vary by destination. All orders are sent in plain, discreet packaging with no reference to the contents or Nova Biolabs on the exterior.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs. Any applicable customs duties or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
14. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of research products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been dispatched. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence and we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.
General Terms
15. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Nova Biolabs and Nova Tracker — including text, images, logos, design, and software — is the property of Nova Biolabs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nova Biolabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from:
— Use of or inability to use the Nova Tracker app or our website.
— Reliance on any information, data, or output provided by the app or website.
— Any health decisions made on the basis of data logged or displayed in the app.
— Any misuse of products purchased from our website.
Our total liability for any claim arising in connection with a website order shall not exceed the value of the order in question. Our total liability in connection with the Nova Tracker app shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you — for the Nova Tracker app, this may be via an in-app notice or email.
Continued use of our website or app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
